White House Initiative for Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans
Juan Sepulveda, executive director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans, in collaboration with Mary L. Fifield, president of Bunker Hill Community College, and J. Keith Motley, Chancellor of the University of Massachusetts Boston, held this Community Conversation on Friday, August 28, in a White House Initiative Community Conversation on (Latino) Hispanic Education at the Bunker Hill Community College campus, located at 250 New Rutherford Ave., Boston, Mass., in Room A300.
Two sessions were scheduled which allowed participants an opportunity to voice their thoughts on how Latino educational attainment can and should be improved, and on what the White House Initiative should be doing.
The information gleaned from these sessions were recorded and collected, and will serve as the foundation for the new presidential executive order that will govern the White House Initiative and will be signed by President Barack Obama.
We would like to thank all those that attended and participated at this event! Adelante!
