Latino Diversities

The changing makeup of the Latino population of Massachusetts calls for a deeper understanding of the characteristics and situation of the different sectors of the community. Recent work has focused on the characteristics of new Latino immigrant groups.

Immigrant Integration.

This line of work explores both the potential and the barriers to the integration of new Latino immigrants in Massachusetts. Projects include assessment of needs of new immigrants, entitlements to services, barriers to service delivery, and the development of policy proposals geared to improve the insertion of Latino immigrants.
