Dr. Maria Idali Torres, Director
Dr. Maria Idali Torres is a medical anthropologist with a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut. Her  research has focused on the promotion, protection and maintenance of health of Latina women and their families. Prior to coming to UMass Boston she was an Associate Professor at the School of Public Health and Health Sciences at UMass Amherst.
